How to make foccocia bread italy

Focaccia is a type of Italian bread that is traditionally baked in a wood-fired oven. It is a flatbread that is made with flour, water, salt, and olive oil, and it can be topped with a variety of herbs, vegetables, and other ingredients. Here is a basic recipe for focaccia bread:

Ingredients:

500 grams (4 cups) all-purpose flour
10 grams (2 tsp) salt
10 grams (1 tbsp) sugar
10 grams (2 tsp) active dry yeast
325 milliliters (1 1/3 cups) lukewarm water
50 milliliters (3 1/2 tbsp) olive oil
Herbs and spices, such as rosemary and sea salt, for topping (optional)
Instructions:

1.In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.

2.Add the lukewarm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, and mix until the dough comes together.

3.Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.

4.Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and set it aside to rise for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

5.Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
Punch down the dough and transfer it to a lightly oiled baking sheet.

6.Press the dough out into a flat, round shape and make dimples in the surface with your fingertips.

7.Brush the top of the dough with olive oil and sprinkle it with the herbs and spices of your choice.

8.Bake the focaccia for 20-25 minutes, or until it is golden brown and crispy.
Remove the focaccia from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

I hope this helps!
